Reaper X

Reaper X is an upgraded version of the standard Carolina Reaper (which averages ~1,200,000 SHU) created in 2013. Since 2013 Magic Plant Farms agronomists worked to improve the standard Carolina Reaper to increase the heat level and stabilize the landrace to perfection. As of 2022 the Reaper X has been improved to average ~1,600,000 SHU.   It is ~33% hotter than the standard Carolina Reaper.   The Carolina Reaper family can max out at ~2,200,000SHU.

Our premium, all natural, authentic Chile pepper pods are rich in flavor and high on HEAT.

The Reaper X Chile pod has a pronounced wrinkled and gnarled appearance with a point, or ‘scorpion’s tail,’ on the end of its red pod.  It has a sweet, fruity taste with hints of cinnamon and chocolate.  Great for hot sauces, salsa, & heat lovers.

These chilis are rich in fiber, low in calories and contain nutrients such as potassium and vitamins A and C.
