Carolina Reaper Whole Dried Chile Pods

The Carolina Reaper Chile pod has an average heat rating of 1,569,300 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).  It’s maximum rating has peaked at ~2,200,000 Scoville units.  In 2013, it was recognized by Guinness as the Worlds hottest Chile pepper.  Our premium, all natural, authentic Chile pepper pods are rich in flavor and high on HEAT.  

The Carolina Reaper Chile pod has a wrinkled and gnarled appearance with a point, or ‘scorpion’s tail,’ on the end of its red pod.  It has a sweet, fruity taste with hints of cinnamon and chocolate.  Great for hot sauces, salsa, & heat lovers.
